First results on QCD+QED with C* boundary conditions

A bstract Accounting for isospin-breaking corrections is critical achieving subpercent precision in lattice computations of hadronic observables. way to include QED and strong-isospin-breaking QCD calculations impose C ⋆ boundary conditions space. Here, we demonstrate the computation a selection meson baryon masses on two five QCD+QED gauge ensembles this setup, which preserves locality, translational invariance all through calculation. The generation performed volumes, three different values renormalized fine-structure constant at U-symmetric point, corresponding SU(3)-symmetric where electromagnetic coupling turned off. We also present our tuning strategy and, extent possible, cost analysis simulations with conditions.
